Designers.

Next thing I want to talk about is fashion designers. Fashion designers are the brain of the clothes, shoes, accesories or brand. A fashion designer brings something new to the table for us, the public, to admire and save up money to buy the latest. I, for one, cannot afford any of the designers I mentioned above in my picture but I will someday. You just wait for it. I admire fashion designers so much. Why? Because what they do is amazing. They take an inspiration whether it was a person they saw Monday morning or take Ancient History and put their own fabulous spin to it. They create art for the body and it's fascinating how they do it. Above, I mention some of my favorite designers. As always I have a million more such as Michael Kors, J. Mendel, Moschino, Chanel, Christopher Kane, Elie Saab, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, etc. I want to talk a little bit of each of my favorites. Rodarte: founded by Laura and Kate Mulleavy, love that each season they change completely but never lose their touch and their familiarity. Alexander Wang: American designer who literally took the fashion world by storm. Alexander always leaves me with my jaw open when I see his collections. They're strong and intricate. Burberry: My absolute favorite. CEO Christopher Bailey gives us that British atttitude we always expect from Burberry and he never, EVER dissapoints. His collection are very modern and very well thought. Proenza Schouler: founded by Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCoullough, they were awarded with the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund and for good reason. They gave the fashion world a new perspective of things. They make uneven cuts and crazy patters and make them look timeless and effortless. Balmain: founded by Pierre Balmain, I describe this fashion house as: strong, hard and in your face. Balmain gives us leather jackets with safety pins and studs, pants with fringe from waist to ankle and they all look crisp, clean and most important of all, different (good different). Giambattista Valli: Italian designer, Valli gives us color and a story. His designs are never hard to miss and always keeps you thinking: this man is a genius and I need to buy everything from his collection. At least, that's how I feel. And last but not least, Prabal Gurung: Nepalese American designer, I believe he deserves all the awards. He thinks of literally everything. From what goes on a shoulder to the things he can do to the hem of a dress. One of my favorite designers right now!
