Resorts 2013.

Hello readers. I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. So it's Resort Season already. And I definitely have some great things to say about some of the ones that have come to the light. So lets begin.

So first we have DKNY. The Cruise line was really great though it lacked a bit of color for me. But that's how DKNY is. You go to a DKNY store and you see solid colors. Like the always classic black and white but sometimes they throw a bit of red or aqua. In this line, we have some fuchsia, reds and beige. These three were my personal favorites. The one on the left: Love the simplicity of the outfit and how elegant it looks. The one on the center: Love, love, love the color of the dress and also the pairing of the tights. It gives it a night look that would be great for a party. The one on the right: Hello black! I love a simple black outfit but this look pushes the limit with see through sleeves. Plus this outfit looks crisp and proper.

Now Erdem. This may be my favorite resort for now! Love the way they played with colors. The colors are so exquisite and they play so well with each other. That's something that not many designers can do. Sometimes colors scare me because of this reason. It may not mix well together but this line made it happen and did an excellent job doing it. The outfits above are the ones that left me in awe. The right one: The mixing of blue and pink is just marvelous. And it works so well together. The center one: The prints are quite gorgeous. They're bold and strong and well organized. The left one: A bit on the dark side, equally elegant and gives a sense of superiority.

Lastly, Oscar De La Renta. A collection full of fun colors and that means business. De La Renta really mixed with colors here. He paired red on red, blue on white, green on purple, pink on black and others. He really played with this cruise collection and I really liked the direction he went. There's a lot of casual wear as well as elegant outfits. My favorite from this collection has to be the first picture. Why? I just love how well made that green blouse looks. It looks perfectly tailored and the color speaks for itself. Also adore the pairing of it with a purple skirt. Unexpected pairing. The center one is beautiful due to the wonderful, fun print. It looks vintage yet very summery. The last one is just classic De La Renta. The dress is beautifully made. It's very strong on the top part and slowly grows quite soft. The contrast of these two is what makes this dress look effortless.
